I just wanted to invite you all to attend the Route 66
Anniversary Celebration in downtown Needles of Nov 9.
Festivities will run from 9 - 5 Saturday.  Show-n-shine,
Veteran's Day Parade, Kidstown, poker walk, etc. Tours of
the El Garces will be at 9 am and 10 am.  Guest speakers
from 2:00 - 3:30 in the main dinning hall of the Harvey
House will be Scott Piotrowski from the California Route 66
Preservation Foundation and Mike Taylor Route 66 Corridor
Preservation Program Manager from the National Park
Service. Veteran's Day Parade and Awards will follow.
